Description: The Fulfillment manager oversees the organized, accurate, and timely order fulfillment, also  oversees the training, work, organization, and accuracy of the fulfillment team. The Fulfillment manager works in conjunction with Production Manager, ensuring product is available for all fulfillment needs. Constant communication between all company management required to successfully orchestrate fulfillment. Fulfillment includes drivers, event operators, packaging team, store fulfillment and may increase as the company grows.

Pay: $60,000-$70,000/ annually

Position Duties:

  • Work in collaboration with all management to determine order fulfillments needs company wide. 
  • Maintaining communication with administrative, event and driving teams consistently.
  • Assist Production management in keeping track of inventory (in house products as well as partner items and merchandise) in preparation for order fulfillment.
  • Assist and work with office support team and operations team to ensure packing materials are available, as needed.
  • Organizing daily schedule and delegation of fulfillment roles.
  • Train, coach and supervise packaging team to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality of work 
  • Setting goals for performance and achieving results through the use of deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision
  • Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Develop and monitor accurate order fulfillment process. 
  • Address any issues/errors with packaging team directly, holding accountable.
  • Work with production management to organize storage of packaged items.
  • Assessing business needs and formulating and implementing processes and procedures to rectify deficiencies.
  • Manage and oversee staff for taking orders to customers (delivery, event, etc.) and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Hold regular meetings with all staff for multiple deparments.
  • Oversee the delivery and other aspects of the sale of wholesale products to multiple locations.
  • Cover personnel gaps as needed
  • Work with recruitment team and leadership team to forecast hiring needs and successfully hire A players.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Managerial Duties:

  • Observe and enforce company policies, procedures and goals – both short and long term 
  • Ability to delegate and hold staff accountable to projects, timelines, and accuracy.
  • Anticipate and plan hiring needs and recruit accordingly  
  • Ensure all the onboarding procedures are executed in timely matter   
  • Hold weekly meetings with leadership team
  • Communicate relevant information in a timely manner across stakeholders 
  • Oversee the reporting of payroll accurately and timely.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for staff
  • Be able to participate in solution based, forward moving conflict resolution 
  • Ensure consistent HR staff notes are executed and maintained 
  • Issue warnings and other disciplinary action as needed 
  • Ensure that timely and consistent employee reviews are performed  
  • Assessing business needs to determine over/under staffing, overseeing adjustments as needed. 
  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations across all assigned departments.
  • Monitor direct employees and oversee the monitoring of non-direct employees productivity and provide constructive on-going feedback, coaching and development.
  • Oversee timely development and disciplinary action as needed
  • Oversee weekly and monthly cost reports and budgets.
  • Create protocols and procedures
  • Create job descriptions
  • Curate, schedule and lead weekly/monthly staff meetings, in an engaging and productive manner
  • Manage and resolve any emergencies as needed
  • Oversee the hiring, orientation and training to maintain successful lifespan and/or termination of staff
  • Training and coaching of direct employees 

 

Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Clean driving abstract with no moving violations in at least 3 years prior 
  • Professional experience driving
  • Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be of legal age to rent vehicles (25 or older).
  • Ability to get to work on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Possess or obtain valid permits needed for position, keeping current throughout duration of employment
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience working with WSDA/USDA preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality
  • 5+ years’ experience working in food setting 
  • Ability to learn, retain information and follow instructions
  • Have reliable transpiration
  • Follow all company procedures and protocols
  • Display an affinity for our products, core values and company philosophy 
  • Attend team meetings with 100% attendance 
  • Create and maintain company culture
  • Conduct all duties and actions in a safe and secure manner, following safety guidelines as well as all company policies and procedures.

Working Environment, Physical Demands: 

  • Work in a bakery/kitchen setting, which includes exposure to high amounts of flour, spices, meat scents, high temperatures, relative humidity, continuous repetitive movement, heavy lifting minimum of 50lbs, and use of industrial size bakery and kitchen equipment
  • Work in the kitchen setting, which includes spatial awareness of self and co-workers using large equipment and sharp utensils around you
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 300 pounds in all directions, lifting up to 50lbs and maneuvering heavy, tall carts as needed safely.
  • Work on feet for the duration of shift
  • Verbally warn people of your presence to meet safety protocols
  • Follow all newly established company policies and protocols
  • Lengths of time spent working in cooler and freezer.
  • Work with a variety of packaging tools including tape gun, boxes, knives, ice/gel packs, etc.

Blending traditional recipes with local flavors, our selection of Piroshkies offering a wide array of choices, both savory and sweet. Since starting our bakery at the Pike Place Market two decades ago we integrated the last of the Northwest into our own traditional recipes. Our Piroshkies are individually made from scratch and hand-molded into their very own unique shapes. 

Our central kitchen is located in Seattle's South Park neighborhood. Here our team works throughout the day & night to produce for stores, catering, pop-up events, wholesale delivery & home delivery.
