Piroshky Piroshky is hiring a Food packer at our Kent kitchen order fulfillment kitchen

Shifts are generally 8am to 4pm or 2-10pm through out the week.

20-30 hours a week. $18.00/hr ($20.00-$22.00/hr after tips), we are looking for weekend availability.

Join us in our kitchen where we package online Piroshky orders to be delivered to our clients:

A day in this position:

• Retrieve customer order forms and set up packaging area with items needed to fulfill orders ( boxes, gel ice, tape ). Pastries are frozen and will be available to fulfill order.
• Carefully read customer order form and ensure that all items ordered are included in boxes
• Ensure that pastries are top quality and they are packaged carefully for delivery ( quality control )
• Organize pastry inventory as you go as well cleaning area as needed
• When finished with order fulfillment, store boxes for delivery drivers
• When finished, make an inventory list of product left over
• Lastly, dishwashing and cleaning as needed

Experience desired ( we also train )

• Experience in kitchen setting
• Experience in packaging center
• Cleaning back ground

At this time, weekend availability is required to be considered for this position

Please have :

• An up to date WA state food handlers permit
• Dependable transportation
• Weekend availability
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Physical stamina to work on feet for the duration of the shift
• Ability to spend a significant amount of time in cooler and freezer
• Ability to commit to kitchen safety protocols

Pay is $18.00/hr (averages $20.00-$22.00/hr with tips)
