Piroshky Baking Company is seeking a box truck delivery driver, $25.00/hr,  paid breaks, full benefits,  and complementary food.

Our delivery driver is responsible for ensuring safe, timely and accurate delivery of baked goods and other items to our stores.  The delivery driver will represent the company in a professional manner.

Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 4:00am to 12:00pm. 

Our Kitchen is located in Kent, WA, where you will begin your shift. 

Store deliveries are currently routed for our bakeries in Pike Place market, 3rd and Pike, Convention Center at Summit, and Columbia Tower. 

Responsibilities include:

• Load carts onto company 24ft box truck, checking for inventory accuracy and safely maneuvering to avoid injury or lost product 
• Navigating  downtown in 24ft. box truck, and using appropriate load and unload zones to deliver  product and to retail locations
• Maneuvering carts loaded with pastry trays from truck to stores
• Driving safely in inclement weather 
• Assisting with the training and development of new driving staff
• Light cleaning of truck and vehicle after delivery. 
• submitting end of day reports
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Clean driving record going back at least 3 years ( no moving violations/citations)
• Have been driving for the past 3 consecutive years.
• Must have experience driving a 24 ft box truck( or larger)

This is considered a safety sensitive position and will require drug  testing , including marijuana 

Shift starts at 4:00AM until 12:00pm. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. 

Ability to:

• lift 50lbs
• drive in inclement weather
• be punctual
