Piroshky Piroshky Bakery is hiring a Full-Time Back of House Manager for our flagship store in the Pike Place store. 

A family owned bakery since 1992, Piroshky Piroshky has been serving Seattle from its historic Pike Place location for almost three decades. In recent years, our company has grown to multiple locations, serving multiple areas and a Food truck! 

Our bakeries are focused on bringing our fresh handmade pastries to Seattle's locals. As we expand, we are seeking creative, passionate, and loyal individuals to join our team.

Piroshky Piroshky Bakery is seeking a Full Time Back of House Manager 67,000-87,000 annually, depending on experience plus $5,000 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities Include:

• Create department schedule
• ensure appropriate labor needs correspond with sales goals
• Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to facilities department
• Oversee the production and baking of thousands of pieces daily to company standards
• Create and a follow a production schedule and prioritize tasks
• Clean and maintain equipment and work space used in food preparation according to established procedures for health and sanitation and safe work practices
• Oversee efficient inventory practices (ordering, FIFO, etc.)
• Detect and ensure disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment and/or other unusual conditions
• Ensure all staff safely move and operate throughout the bakery, communicating clearly and loudly, according to company protocols
• Attentively and accurately follow recipes
• Set and monitor seasonal production workflow changes
• Safely operate all equipment in small spaces, ensuring all staff are doing likewise
• Utilize and oversee staff usage of all provided PPE equipment, ensuring stock and accessibility at all times
• Ensure that timely and consistent employee reviews are performed
• Monitor direct employees and oversee the monitoring of non-direct employees productivity and provide constructive on-going feedback, coaching and development.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of food production experience required
• 2 years baking experience required
• 5 year of managerial experience required
• Experience managing staff of at least 7-12 individuals
