Piroshky Piroshky is seeking a full time Social Media Community Specialist

Piroshky Piroshky, a PNW based company serving original recipes and handmade products for close to 30 years. Our doors first opened in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market in 1992, offering a unique food experience to both locals and travelers alike. We prize the special connection we have with our customers who visit us time and time again. After acclimating through the crisis in 2020, our company now offers a variety of ways for our fans to enjoy our offerings even when they are unable to make it to our bakery. From Pop up spots throughout the state of Washington, Oregon and California, and with more states to come, to home deliveries and national shipping. We are excited for the new connections and memories to come.

The social media and marketing team will work directly will all levels and outlets of the company as well as partnering vendors, to build company knowledge and consolidate/curate an engaging narrative and exposition of Piroshky Piroshky to existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Interact with customers via Piroshky Piroshky's social media channels ( including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Yelp )
• Assisting the social media and marketing team in planning/scheduling posts via sprout social
• Reach out to local influencers on social media or other avenues for collaboration or media exposure options.
• On going creation and development of social media and advertising content
• Other various duties as assigned

Required skills/experience:

• THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
• 6 months of demonstrable experience in social media
• Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• verbal and written communication skills that are both developed and effective
• Active and passionate about social media: it’s not just something you know, but an integral part of your daily life
• Have reliable transportation between sites/office/ events
• 16 years or older
