Description: 

The Kitchen Baker is responsible for identifying, garnishing, proofing and baking, all piroshkies on the menu, to company standards. They are responsible for Labeling and freezing baked items within an hour of baking. They bake and bag orders for delivery or pick-up, via our tablet, orders given by the office, or other means of ordering. The Kitchen baker provides an optimal customer product experience.

Position Duties:

• Retrieve items on rolling carts from fridge or freezer to be baked.
• Ability to correctly identify each product, baking accurately and timely.
• Review baking list given at beginning of shift, prioritizing based on inventory and order needs.
• Egg washing, proofing, and baking all items on menu.
• Identify baking range, what is acceptable and what is not, according to company standards for freezer items and hot ordered items.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Assist on Piroshky assembly/production when needed.
• Bake hot orders for on-demand delivery- including timing of baking, bagging, and notifying driver of order completion.
• Bake orders in-line with par numbers for events, deliveries, etc.

Requirements:

Working Environment:

• Work in bakery/kitchen setting, which includes exposure to high amounts of flour, spices, meat scents, high temperatures, relative humidity, continuous repetitive movement, heavy lifting of about 50 lbs, and use of industrial size bakery and kitchen equipment.
• Adjusting or moving objects up to 300 lbs in all directions.
