Tectonic focuses on understanding our client's challenges and developing solutions powered by Salesforce to transform their organization’s capabilities by providing them the tools and knowledge needed to get the best use out of the Salesforce Platform with a focus on Public Sector Solutions.

Tectonic is searching for a Salesforce Solutions Architect to spearhead sales and delivery utilizing the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions product. You are enthusiastic about aiding government agencies in leveraging technology to tackle significant challenges. You comprehend the unique issues that government agencies encounter, and you possess the know-how to address them using Salesforce. You will interact with our clients by directing discovery and solution design and incorporating the platform’s best practices and knowledge into our solutions. 

You will participate in pursuits by assisting in defining the architecture, drafting proposals, and conducting demonstrations. You will become a specialist in the Public Sector Solutions product and guide both non-technical and technical resources on its optimal use. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical authority and specialist on Public Sector Solutions for Salesforce projects

  • Guide both our clients and implementation teams on the best practices, optimal solutions, reusable components, and features of Public Sector Solutions.

  • Convert agency needs into well-structured solutions that maximize the use of the Salesforce platform.

  • Offer hands-on, advanced technical support to developers.

  • Provide comprehensive estimates of effort for suggested solutions. Explain the advantages and risks related to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.

  • Contribute to sales initiatives by identifying solutions for our clients.

  • Internal Enablement for new products and technical capabilities of Public Sector Solutions, 

  • Some travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • Possess 3-5 or more years of experience with Salesforce.

  • Demonstrated capability to design, optimize, and integrate processes across various systems.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with clients.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce project execution, preferably with consulting experience.

  • Enthusiastic about the public sector and technology.

  • Holds active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain relevant certifications upon employment.

  • Hands-on experience implementing Omni Studio (Omni Script, Data Raptors, Flex Cards, Integration Procedures), Business Rules Engine, and Actions development for internal and external Community users. 

  • Preference for working on one or more use cases: License and Permit Management, Inspections Management, Grants Management, Case Management, Child Welfare, Citizen Engagement, Self-Service Portals, Emergency Program Management, and Benefits Management.

  • Preference for experience with Public Sector Solutions or Salesforce’s Industry Clouds.

  • Preference for prior sales and pre-sales solutions experience.

  • Preference for prior experience with Public Sector clients.
