Job Description
Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our Sales team. Your role will be to generate new sales opportunities and qualified leads to the sales funnel using cold calling, email, and other forms of direct communication with potential clients and channel partner relationships. In addition, you will help coordinate, create, edit, and customize Sales and Marketing materials and collateral to drive leads. Good communication skills and the ability to create trust and confidence with potential clients is essential to cultivate strong relationships with prospects and develop qualified leads to pass on to our Sales Executives.
The ability to find and set up quality lead conversations/opportunities for the Sales Executives is the primary measure of success for this role.
Ultimately, your role is to Increase the sales opportunities and contribute to Tectonic’s long-term business growth. There is a potential career opportunity to develop into a sales executive over time and with successful performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify leads from Marketing Campaigns, Manual Effort (cold calls, emails, social strategies), and Tool Generated lists
- Qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other social strategies
- Assist Sales Executives with the development of Sales materials and lead generation activities.
- Set up calls between prospective clients and Tectonic Sales Executives
- Learn, be able to effectively communicate regarding and stay up-to-date with Salesforce solution features, new offerings, and Tectonic’s service/delivery capabilities
Must Have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to create trusting relationships
- Active listening skills to understand a prospect's wants or needs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize various tasks.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Background and experience with Salesforce solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google / Microsoft tools (e.g., Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High energy, motivated, and results-driven, enjoy working in a team environment,
Nice to Have
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant experience is a plus.
