Blackbaud Consultant

Blackbaud Consultant will work in a team environment to support clients existing and future application systems, with a focus on Blackbaud CRM. As a Consultant, you will be expected to participate in the requirements-gathering process, solution design, development, quality assurance, and deployment. The Senior Technical Consultant is responsible for the successful delivery of new application features, integrations between applications, integrations with data vendors, configuring data integration packages, generating data exports and reports for various areas of the organization, and modifications and defect fixing of existing features and applications.

In addition, you will be expected to spend approximately 15-20% of the time on customary technical duties, which will include:

• Helping other team members and providing technical feedback
• Helping to establish best practices and policies relating to software development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related degree, or commensurate experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing with an object-oriented language such as VB. NET or C#.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing against MS SQL Server and full knowledge of T-SQL.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing custom features for the Blackbaud CRM application.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience using and developing SSIS packages for the Blackbaud DWH.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in creating reports and exports in the Blackbaud CRM.
• Must have worked in an IT consulting capacity for non-profits for a minimum of 1 year and is well versed with the non-profit jargon and utilization.
• Experience working in Azure DevOps and Git.
• Experience with the following is a major plus but not required:
  • Salesforce
  • Eloqua (Oracle marketing cloud)
  • Web development languages such as Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, and/or ASP. NET
• Ability to work independently as well as in an interdepartmental team.
