Responsibilities:
- Conduct backflow inspections existing sites, renovations, and new construction.
- Perform troubleshooting and emergency repairs and some plumbing of/or related to backflow assemblies as necessary.
- Identify code and other non-compliant issues and make recommendations on repairs or preventive maintenance.
- Utilize and enter accurate information into field software to report inspection results.
- Communicate directly and honestly with clients, ensuring they understand the equipment and necessary repairs.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficiency and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Ideal Applicants
- Hold a valid backflow certification through ABPA or other equivalent (current), and have hands-on experience testing, servicing, and repairing equipment.
- Are not only technically proficient, but also skilled in explaining backflow systems to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Take pride in your work, value customer relationships, and believe in delivering quality service every time.
- Have a valid Drivers License, with good driving record and willing to drive to multiple job sites each day
- Able and willing to use apps and software in the field
- Enjoy working independently, as well as collaborating with a team
- Are organized, systematic and adherent to deadlines.
- Able to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50-70 lbs and work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – (ex - climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within cabinets, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc)
