BACKFLOW INSPECTION / REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Backflow Paradise is a local, family owned and operated business that inspects, repairs, and maintains backflows and fire safety systems. 

We are looking for a Certified Backflow Technician who doesn't mind getting dirty, can problem solve, has good communication skills, and can create positive interactions with our clients in the field

We are looking to fill multiple service technician positions as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct backflow inspections existing sites, renovations, and new construction.
• Perform troubleshooting and emergency repairs and some plumbing of/or related to backflow assemblies as necessary.
• Identify code and other non-compliant issues and make recommendations on repairs or preventive maintenance.
• Utilize and enter accurate information into field software to report inspection results.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License, with good driving record and willing to drive to multiple job sites each day
• Able and willing to use apps and software in the field
• Able to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50-70 lbs
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within cabinets, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Backflow Certified through ABPA or other equivalent (current), or willingness to become certified within 90 days
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
• Organized, systematic and adherent to deadlines.
