Arizona Dental Heights, a modern and esteemed private dental office, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Full-Time Dental Assistant. This position is integral to our team and requires the presence of the assistant on-site; hence, it is not a remote job. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the dentist chairside during various dental procedures.
  • Sterilizing and sanitizing equipment to ensure all are in perfect condition for patient care.
  • Setting up instrument trays and preparing the necessary supplies before each procedure.
  • Assisting in various dental operations as needed to support the dentist and dental hygienists.
  • Providing direct care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visit.
  • Performing diagnostic dental x-rays as required during patient examinations.
  • Maintaining dental equipment and ensuring all machinery operates smoothly.
  • Managing inventory of dental supplies and placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
  • Fabricating temporary restorations as per the dentist’s specifications.

Requirements

  • Dental Assistant certification or diploma.
  • Valid dental x-ray certification.
  • Proven experience in dental assisting; hands-on experience with dental procedures and dental hygiene activities.
  • Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic management.
  • Experience in using or willingness to learn about modern dental technologies such as CBCT and intra oral scanners.
  • High proficiency or willingness to train in dental practice management software, preferably Dentrix.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective patient interactions.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently as required.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high standards in all tasks.
