Minimum Requirements
Required Education:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or Law
Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education
Completion of 10-hour Cal OSHA Occupational Safety and Health
Required Experience:
15 years full time paid professional experience in managing a Claims Department responsible in analyzing construction claims on large commercial or public projects or programs
Minimum of 8 years directly managing and supervising a technical team of varying skill levels in support of construction claims
General working knowledge of the California Contract Code
