KHYZ-HD3, the Bloomberg Radio network affiliate in Los Angeles, is seeking a PT, entry-level media assistant. This position is located in Elizabethton, TN.

This is a diverse position and is ideal for someone looking to gain broad experience in the media industry.

Specific duties:

1. Assist show host with pre- and post-production, including preparing background material on guests

2. Edit and upload podcasts

3. Assist marketing department with ad production (video and audio) and graphic design

4. Assist with maintaining website and social media 

5. Interface with sponsors and sales team

6. Act as a general assistant to company executive

7. Write scripts and direct voiceover talent

8. Maintain remote studio automation

9. Employ AI to make workflow more efficient

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Communication, Media Studies, English, Marketing or similar from an accredited college or university. Current students will be considered for internship positions, provided they have a minimum of 12 hours of availability weekly.

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

3. Proficiency in audio and video editing

4. Proficiency in graphic design 

5. Ability to work flexible hours

6. Strong organizational and administrative skills
