GAIN HIGH-LEVEL EXPERIENCE WHILE EARNING A MASTER'S DEGREE!

We are currently recruiting for a new class of Graduate Fellows. This cohort will be based in the Tri-Cities region of Virginia/Tennessee. We are seeking either recent college graduates or 2023 graduates with undergraduate degrees in Journalism, English, Communication, Graphic Design, Sports Marketing, or a related field.

Those selected for the program will earn an accredited Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) with a concentration in Digital Media Leadership over two years with 100% of tuition covered.

In addition, working both individually and in teams, students will file stories for local and national media outlets including CNN, ABC News, CBS News, and FOX News on a freelance basis.

* Someone who has a genuine interest in completing a master's program and can be successful in an online learning environment

* Someone with a passion for journalism

* Someone experienced in multi-disciplinary forms of reporting and story preparation: print, video, audio.

* Someone who desires to work in a team environment

* Someone who has a strong desire to build an A-list portfolio

* Someone who isn't afraid of long and sometimes irregular hours

* Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. The news business is changing fast, requiring new models for both how news is disseminated and how journalists are compensated for their work. While many news organizations are shedding staff, we seek to build a new, more sustainable model.
