Process Improvement Specialist / Operations Coordinator

As we continue to grow, we need a well-rounded, experienced Process Improvement Specialist / Operations Coordinator to help streamline operations, document processes, and support long-term scalability.

This is not an entry-level role—we’re looking for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional who can translate verbal instructions into clear, actionable processes while identifying areas for operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Documentation & Standardization

  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various roles and tasks.
  • Collaborate with employees and management to capture detailed workflows and translate them into clear, structured documents.
  • Utilize process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio) to create visual workflow diagrams.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing processes and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and standardization.
  • Assist leadership in developing strategies for scaling operations.

Training & Onboarding Support

  • Create training materials based on documented processes to improve onboarding efficiency.
  • Work with department heads to ensure employees follow documented procedures.
  • Assist in establishing a company-wide knowledge base for easy access to processes.

Long-Term Growth & Strategic Operations Support

  • Help establish a framework for continuous process improvement.
  • Support company leadership in optimizing workflows as the business expands.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and technology integration.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in process documentation, business operations, or process improvement.
  • Strong background in technical writing, process mapping, or operations management.
  • Experience in the construction, contracting, or service industry is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in process documentation tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Notion, Confluence, etc.).

Compensation & Growth Plan:

Structured Pay Scale for Growth:

  • Starting Salary: $65,000
  • After Year 1: Performance-based increase to $70,000–$75,000 based on contribution and efficiency improvements.
  • After Year 2–3: Opportunity to transition into a higher-level operational role (e.g., Operations Manager, Training & Development Lead, or Process Improvement Manager) with salary potential of $80,000–$90,000+.
  • Bonuses/Incentives: Potential for performance-based bonuses tied to efficiency gains and operational improvements.
