Our team of experts specializes in Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, and we are looking for an Automotive Technician / Field Technician to join our growing family.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Basic Auto Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining our diverse fleet of trucks, trailers, and small equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, which is essential for our day-to-day operations. This candidate will also asset with project material delivery and as a crew member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and basic repairs on trucks, trailers, and small equipment.
- Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and fix basic mechanical issues.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Possesses basic knowledge of automotive mechanics.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Holds relevant certification or vocational training in auto mechanics.
- Works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position; and
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
Additional Qualifications are not required but a PLUS: (1) State inspection license(s). (2) ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
