Business Development Representative

Salary Range:  $17 - $21 hour

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team! In this exciting role, you will play a vital role in driving new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. You will identify and qualify potential leads, build relationships, and set appointments for our Account Executives.  This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment for someone who thrives on exceeding expectations and making a significant contribution to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for and identify qualified leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email marketing, social media).
  • Conduct thorough lead qualification to assess potential customer needs and fit for our products/services.
  • Research and understand target markets and customer pain points.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting the value proposition of our offerings.
  • Build rapport and establish trust with prospective clients through effective communication.
  • Schedule sales appointments for Account Executives with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Participate in sales training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role (experience in our industry a plus).
  • Proven track record of prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A hunter mentality with a drive to exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
