Architectural Project Designer

Salary Range:  $60000 - $90000 year

Escobedo Group is looking for an architectural designer to become part of our design studio team (Escobedo Studio). You'll be working in a highly creative environment where you will have the responsibility and opportunity to explore innovative design and the finer details of unique projects in collaboration with each division of our company (design, fabrication, millworks, stoneworks, and metalworks). Requirements include attention to detail, an inquisitive mindset, and a proactive approach. Construction experience is a plus, and will be helpful in your position, but not required.

Our ideal candidate is eager to contribute and engage with the full design, fabrication, and build process. Using our Dario Panelized System we are creating and contributing to innovations in high-end custom residential construction. Your main tasks as a new team member will be to assist with document production, design concepts, detailing, and rendering for our projects with plenty of room for advancement to the right candidate.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • B.Arch or M.Arch degree required
  • Minimum 3 - 7 years in the architecture and/or construction industry – construction experience is highly valued
  • Range of experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Adobe CS and able to learn new software as needed. 
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
  • Able to work under tight deadlines with quality deliverables
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with IRC, IBC, and municipal codes/ordinances is highly valued

Starting pay based on experience: ~$60-90K
