Lean Industrial Engineer

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Industry

Location: North Phoenix - 2688 E Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050

Full time (on-site), exempt

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer with expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing our processes, improving productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma initiatives in our processes and operations.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop solutions for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure sustainability.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, facility layouts, and work measure analysis to streamline workflows and resource utilization.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on Lean and Six-Sigma principles and methodologies.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.                                                                                                                                                                 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with demonstrated experience in leading process improvement projects.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in Aerospace & Defense is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
