CNC Maintenance Mechanic / Technician (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)

CMI Group is looking to hire a CNC Maintenance Mechanic for our SOUTH Phoenix location!

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Full time, day shift

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, assemble and test CNC machines and equipment
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
  • Complete repairs and parts replacements
  • Work effectively with other team members in a safe environment
  • Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines or vehicles
  • Complete written record of work performed


Basic Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of hand tools and industrial tools
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical and plumbing preferred
  • Strong work ethic and self motivated
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects, up to 35 lbs. More with assistance.
  • Ability to stand or walk the majority of the shift. Bend, kneel, stoop, squat as needed for tasks.
