Entry Level Shipping Specialist (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing setting)

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Full time, day shift (6am - 3:30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Assists OSP with shipping when carrier services are involved
  • Maintains finished goods inventory- weekly cycle counting
  • Coordinates/communicates with Quality and Production departments on daily needs
  • Assists with WIP movement updates
  • Communicates updates to customers as required (end of day ship list and tracking detail)
  • Packages parts for shipment or inventory
  • Verifies and adheres to customer delivery requirements

  • Able to lift 20+ lbs
  • Team player
  • Attention to Detail
  • Multi-tasking

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous delivery experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Forklift Certification preferred

Other preferred experience that includes:

  • ERP/MRP system experience
  • Logistics knowledge (FedEx, UPS, Freight Services)
  • High school diploma or trade school
  • Min 1-2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office
