We are seeking an Account Program Manager to join our team at CMI Group (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing).


Location: 3617 E. La Salle St. Phoenix, AZ 85040

Full time, day shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The account program manager serves as the primary point of coordination between the customer and CMI’s production facilities. As an account program manager, you will have three main objectives:

1. Achieve the account shipment plan 

2. Lead a successful customer performance program 

3. Manage the contractual relationship

The account program manager leads and drives the critical actions and functions associated with a key customer including delivery, cost, operational performance, critical communication and planning. The account program manager develops, implements, executes and maintains organized data applicable with all key customer deadlines and business objectives through our production systems. The individual manages the forecast through rolling 12 months outlook in order to meet the customers’ needs in terms of delivery, product and quality. The position is accountable for building up the functional excellence to support business objectives and leads and works collaboratively with our all stakeholder teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve account shipment plan

• Participate in daily production and weekly SIOP meetings to provide data and guidance, identify and communicate risk, and lead problem solving efforts including risk mitigation 

• Monitor customer backlog including purchase order coverage and schedule changes and ensure the organization and customer are taking appropriate actions to manage the demand signal

 • Manage a sales line of balance to ensure actual part shipments stay on plan 

Lead a successful customer performance program

 • Ensure all critical areas of the relationship are being worked using a weekly RAIL 

• Manage customer performance scorecard to green, conduct monthly performance reviews, and ensure actions such as RMRA signoff are completed

 • Prepare a kickoff plan for new awards and manage the NPI schedule to attain commit dates 

Manage the contractual relationship

 • Review customer orders and forecasts and coordinate all responses including acknowledgment, change requests, and issues resolution

 • Supervise supporting staff for the account and oversee order entry and invoicing work flows 

• Understand the customer statement of work and contractual obligations and ensure bilateral compliance and maintenance of all relevant information such as active part numbers, pricing effectivity, and minimum order quantities

Standards of Excellence

 • Daily interaction with key stakeholders 

• Weekly report out using 5 Why’s to address issues 

• Immediate customer notification of deviation to plan, root cause, and recovery path

Education/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Engineering preferred)

Experience:

• 5 years’ experience with production, program, or project management 

• Production Control experience within a machine / fab operating system 

• Experience working with complex ERP/MRP systems 

• Contracts review
