CMI Group is looking for an Lean Industrial Engineering Intern
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm Full time, paid internship with benefits!
Location: South Phoenix - 40th St & Southern (Cassavant Machining 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040)
Position Overview:
The Industrial engineering intern will assist in the development and implementation:
o Standard work instruction for setup changes
o Methods and procedures for continuous flow projects
o Support continuous improvement activities (Kanban, VSM, Kaizen, 5s, SMED, Andon, Value stream mapping)
o Time studies analysis
o Flow diagram and process maps
o Work in the deployment of visual management
o Lean principles training
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or entering final semester of engineering degree
· Knowledge of Lean/Six-sigma techniques ( Kaizen, 5S, JIT among others)
· Capability of working in MS, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
· Due to ITAR, all employees must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
