Currently offering $1,000 bonus for Grind machinist, paid after 6 months of employment + Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan.

Program, Setup, and operate precision grinding equipment to manufacture and sharpen carbide and HSS cutting tools using CNC & Manual cutter grinders.   

Cutter GrinderResponsibilities:

  • Meet production requirements for re-sharpen cutters
  • Work with Production and Engineering on manufacturing custom cutters
  • Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and print requirements
  • Sharpen or modify tools, milling cutters, drills, reamers, form tools, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as required
  • Maintain a clean work environment

CutterBasic Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools
  • Use practical skills and knowledge as a Cutter Grinder to manufacture and sharpen high precision cutting tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Mark and identify tools according to shop standards
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Work well in a team environment

Grinder Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Walters grinders 
  • Experience sharpening carbide and HSS cutters

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
