QC Inspectors - Aerospace Precision Machining

Established in 1985, Systems 3, Inc. uses precision machining and assembly services to deliver high complexity airframe, flight critical, and flight safety products to the Aerospace & Defense industries.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 5am - 3:30pm, Saturday OT possible.

We have positions available for EXPERIENCED Surface Plate inspectors of precision machined parts.

Responsibilities:

· Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and materials

· Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)

· Inspect, test, or measure materials, products ,installations, or work for conformance to specifications.

· Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

· Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.

· Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards

· Maintain inspection records of testing, information and various metrics

· Record inspection or test data, and quantities inspected or graded.

3 Years Minimum Experience Required in Precision Measurement Inspection and the following desired:

· Proven experience as quality inspector in a precision machine shop.

· A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

· Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems

· Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies

· Preferred working Knowledge of certified quality control (ISO 9000, AS9100, etc.)
