Gage Technician / Calibration Technician (Aerospace manufacturing)

Cassavant Machining LLC - Defense & Aerospace Machine Shop (South Phoenix - Southern & 40th St)

Day Shift (6am - 3:30pm) $1,000 new hire bonus, paid after 6 months + Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan

Night (3:00 pm - 2:30am) $2,500 new hire bonus, paid after 6 months + Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan 

Duties / Responsibilities

• Daily set up and tear down of Dial bore gages, Mueller gages, Indicator Mics, Sunnen gages, etc.
• Ability to manage gage tracking/calibration tracking software
• Strong ability to multi-task between different job responsibilities
• Ability to troubleshoot gages in order to ease manufacturing setups and inspections.
• Work with supervisors and managers to determine any new gaging needed to keep manufacturing floor up and running.
• Detail oriented and work within a team setting and in a fast paced manufacturing atmosphere.
• Provide support to Calibration technician as needed.

Education / Experience

• High School or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience with gage set ups
