CassMac LLC is looking for an experienced Quality Manager for our North Phoenix Aerospace Manufacturing facility. 

Location: 2688 E. Rose Garden Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85050

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Aerospace manufacturing, inspection background, good understanding of GD&T. Major customer requirements and expectations. First Pieces, First Article and related inspection tasks.

Daily support of the flow of quality functions within the shop. Including but not limited to:

• First piece inspections
• Final inspection
• PPAPS
• APQP
• FAIRS
• Calibration, and
• Managing daily throughput, inspection staff of priorities, expectations, administrative duties as needed
• Working with inspection team, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, shop leads and managers to support quality and delivery
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED 

Education: 4 year technical or business degree preferred

Experience Required: 5+ years supervisory/management experience in aerospace, tight tolerance machining industry or equivalent training/experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED

· Strong computer skills are required. Microsoft Office products used on a daily basis

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques, Quality System, and SPC tools

· Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills
