Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make patients feel comfortable and provide a welcoming experience.
• Clean and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Conduct preliminary dental examinations and assist dentists with procedures.
• Identify signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities.
• Perform plaque removal and apply fluoride treatments or sealants.
• Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
• Create dental impressions and update patient health history.

Requirements:

• Degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
• Active dental hygienist license in the state of Utah.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
