Job Description: As a Bookkeeper at DR. Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting both our health services and construction divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for both health services and construction projects.
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and vendor management.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in both divisions.
  • Collaborate with management to provide financial analysis and insights.
  • Assist with tax compliance and filings for both health services and construction projects.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Stay current with accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a dual-industry environment (health services and construction).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Organized and systematic with data.
