Crew Leader

Wichita, KS 67206 • Customer Service • Project Management • Operations • Full-Time

Salary Range:  $20 - $35 hour

Position Overview:

The Crew Leader is a vital leadership role at Squeegee Squad of Wichita. As a Crew Leader, you will manage 1-2 technicians, ensuring quality results, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer satisfaction. Note: Crew Leaders should expect to travel approximately 10% of the year for projects outside the local area.

Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $20-$21 per hour.
  • Average Total Compensation: $25-$35 per hour, including commissions and bonuses.
  • Crew Leaders earn additional income through performance-based bonuses tied to truck revenue and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relations:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional, high-quality service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers before, during, and after appointments.
  • Actively train and mentor 1-2 technicians in customer service, field operations, and team-first practices.

Operations Management:

  • Ensure equipment, tools, and vehicles are clean, organized, and fully operational.
  • Collaborate with management to follow the daily schedule and complete jobs on time.
  • Adhere to all company standard operating procedures and safety policies.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Supervise and manage 1-2 field technicians, fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Conduct ongoing training and sign off on team achievements as part of the 5-Star Certification Program.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency at all times.

Work Environment:

  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and other challenging environments.
  • Not afraid of heights, ladders, scissor lifts, or boom lifts. Training on equipment will be provided if needed.
  • Willingness to perform physical labor and work outdoors for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
  • Availability to work weekends occasionally, based on scheduling needs.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the year for work outside the local area.
  • Experience in a leadership or technician role is preferred, but not required – we will train the right candidate.

  • Bi-Weekly Bonus Based on Truck Revenue: Earn a percentage of the truck’s revenue every two weeks when meeting these performance goals:
    • Efficient and timely job completion.
    • Effective management and mentoring of 1-2 technicians.
    • Maintenance of vehicles and equipment to company standards.
    • Consistent positive customer feedback or reviews.
