POSITION SUMMARY/JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dentist at Burns Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our team to ensure a dynamic and memorable patient experience. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional dental care through providing all aspects of dental procedures. The Dentist is the patient’s advocate throughout their dental experience, providing meaningful patient care and providing all available options with compassion.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Create a positive and individualized experience for each patient
• Build rapport with patients to ensure a memorable smile
• Assists with patient management during dental procedures
• Educate patients on all options available
• Minimally provide basic dental services (i.e. comprehensive dental exams, periodic exams, fillings, crowns/bridges, root canals, simple extractions)
• Surgical experience a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Arizona Dental License
• 5+ years of experience as a provider preferred
• Accurately record dental history and provide treatment options
• Effectively communicate with team and patients
• Ability to pass a background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
• Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
