Dental Hygienist

We are looking for an exceptional dental hygienist to become a key member of our well-established, private (owner-dentist) centrally located family dental practice.   A current State hygiene license, certification in local anesthesia, up-to-date vaccinations, and a working knowledge of Dentrix are required.  The ideal applicant would be passionate about the profession, open to learning and implementing the latest techniques, and must be a team player who is willing to work with other team members to optimize patient dental care and contribute to an ideal working environment.  Health insurance benefits will be available to full-time applicants after a 60-day waiting period, select paid holidays after 90 days.

Dental Hygienist Attributes:

Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Thorough, compassionate patient care, as appropriate for the position
  • Taking x-rays, scans, and reviewing dental histories
  • Performing preventative care
  • Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
  • Clinical note preparation and charting, and appropriate follow-up with patients, as needed
  • Preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Supply management, including identifying patient product requests and identifying products that best suit patient        needs/desires
