Elite Construction Company is looking to hire a well experienced Residential Water Sewer Maintenance Supervisor.

This is a full time position that will pay depending on your experience.

Residential Sewer Maintenance Supervisor will have knowledge of sewer repair lines, industrial and residential electrical knowledge. 

We have 16 residential water systems that we maintain weekly.

Replacement of pipes 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with installation of water services including tapping the water main, installing the service tubing, and connecting the tubing to the meter box.
 Repair of water main breaks, water service leaks and water meters.

Assists with emergency shutdowns of the water system.

Assists with the maintenance of water valves, fire hydrants, and water meters.

Turns customers' water services on and off.

Installs, replaces and uses a computer to analyze and troubleshoot residential  water meters.

Records meter readings for billing purposes.

Assists with installation of sewer laterals from the main to the property line for residential customers.
 Repair and maintenance of gravity sewer mains, sewer force mains, customers' service laterals, force main valves, and air release valves 

Assists with the shutdown, bypass, and repair of damaged gravity and force mains.

Uses a computer to utilize  electronic mapping system, and to send, receive, and close out electronic work orders.
Assists with performance of utility locates with ground penetrating radar  and other equipment.

Operates and maintains back-hoe, trencher, service truck, pumps, well-point systems and other equipment.

Responds to customer complaints and makes contact with the customers.

Uses laptop


Performs small restorations to roads, driveways, and sidewalks using asphalt and concrete.

Fills holes with sand to prepare for restoration.

All other duties as assigned. 

• OSHA Certified or able to gain Certification within 1 year of employment
• 3-5 years experience in sewer and water line repair/replacement/installation preferred.
• 3-5 years direct employee supervision required.
• CDL a Plus
• Valid Driver's License and clean MVR
• Bilingual English/Spanish a big ++++

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the water systems in the best possible condition.
