Electronics Harness Assemblers

Salary Range:  $10.50 - $11.50 hour

Quality Production is looking to hire experienced dependable full-time entry level and experienced electronics  wire harness assemblers to join our growing production company 


 Requirements:

  • Assemble wire harness jobs as assigned
  • Record accurate build times and other build information as instructed
  • Accurately follow written work instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience building wire harness assemblies, ability to read blue prints,  and wiring schematics is a plus
  • Soldering experience will be a plus for this position 

The Electronics Assembler assembles and/or modifies electronic components to precise specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembles electronic circuit boards by installing components using soldering equipment and other small tools.
  • Assembles electronic units, sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies using various small tools.
  • Adjusts, repairs or replaces electronic components or assemblies to correct defects.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Performs a variety of repetitive manual operations including, but not limited to, testing, installation or manufacture of wiring harnesses, circuit boards, compressors motors, hydraulic and structural components of various sizes and weights, etc.
  • Operates hand tools, power tools and production equipment to produce sub-assemblies and completed units.
  • Applies process to a set of work instructions and perform their duties
  • Assists team in meeting set performance goals including, but not limited to safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
    Analyzes results and performs design reviews.
    Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment, building is climate controlled.
  • Tasks involve standing, walking and sitting up to 100 percent of work time.

We are flexible to accommodating scheduling needs due to COVID-19 school closures, child care, etc.

Currently hiring first shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Full time position

Must have some wiring or mechanical experience for this position 

Pay will depend on experience

$10.50-$11.50 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in wire harness assembly
  • Ability to Stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to get to work on time daily 
  • Ability to work as a team or independently
  • Ability to follow directions 


Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
