HVAC Technician

Salary Range:  $25 - $40 hour

Broomhall Brothers HVAC is looking to add an experienced HVAC Technician to our team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing HVAC systems. You will be required to travel to the customer’s location to identify issues, perform repairs and and help them choose the HVAC equipment that best meets their needs. We work with commercial and residential HVAC customers, so you must know how to work with small and large HVAC equipment. You will also be responsible for the service installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs.

We pay our HVAC Technicians a competitive wage within the range of $25-$40/hr, depending on experience and ability. Broomhall Brothers HVAC has provided mechanical building services to the multi-family, commercial, and institutional markets in the Denver-Metro area since 1996. We service and maintain all commercial boilers, chillers, HVAC, water heaters, storage tanks, indirect heat exchangers, and pumps.

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Responding to Customer Service Requests (service calls)
  • Performing routine maintenance on customer equipment
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to system performance or failure
  • Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, evaporators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and ancillary equipment.
  • Equipment and system start-up per Manufacturer
  • Record measurements of meters, pressures, gauges as machinery is operating
  • Basic understanding of pipe installation
  • Download and back up Control files for customer equipment
  • Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, evaporators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and ancillary equipment.
  • Equipment and system start-up per Manufacturer
  • Record measurements of meters, pressures, gauges as machinery is operating
  • Basic understanding of pipe installation
  • Download and back up Control files for customer equipment

HVAC Technician Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. and must be willing and able to climb ladders
  • 1+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred
  • Must be able to complete a criminal background check, drug test, and driver's license check
  • EPA Certification Universal
