Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager – Surety focused to oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial clients with a focus on surety bonds. This is an in-office role based in Mesa, Arizona, where you will work closely with clients and team members to provide exceptional service and ensure seamless account management. The ideal candidate is experienced in the commercial insurance field, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in surety operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management: Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial clients, managing all aspects of their surety bond needs.
  • Renewal Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring timely issuance of renewal documents, accuracy of terms, and proactive communication with clients.
  • Client Advisory: Provide expert advice on bond requirements, market conditions, and compliance matters to help clients achieve their business goals.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate client records, licensing details, and ensure adherence to regulatory and underwriting standards.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver seamless account management and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Financial Oversight: Process payments, reconcile accounts, and manage premium financing arrangements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and enhance overall client experience.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance, surety bonds, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Preferred:

  • Education/experience in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience managing commercial accounts in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of surety bonds, underwriting, or contract analysis.
