We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions and support the financial operations of our growing portfolio.
---Key Responsibilities
· Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (rents, lease deposits, vendor invoices, etc.).
· Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts for multiple properties/entities.
· Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
· Manage accounts payable/receivable, including vendor payments and tenant billing.
· Track lease schedules, CAM (common area maintenance) reconciliations, and property-level expenses.
· Process bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and cash flow reports.
· Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements.
· Provide support for year-end audits, tax preparation, and financial reviews.
· Collaborate with property managers and leadership team to ensure accurate reporting.
---Qualifications
· 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (real estate/property management strongly preferred).
· Proficiency in QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or other property management/accounting software.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting concepts.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple entities and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
