We are a private family office managing diverse investments, trusts, and personal financial affairs. Our office oversees real estate, portfolio investments, and multigenerational wealth planning.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Family Office Accountant to join our team and ensure accurate financial reporting, proactive cash management, and seamless coordination with external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
· Accounting & Reporting
o Maintain general ledgers for family entities, trusts, and partnerships.
o Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and consolidated reports.
o Reconcile bank, brokerage, and investment accounts.
· Tax & Compliance
o Coordinate with tax advisors for annual filings (individual, trust, partnership, corporate).
· Cash & Investment Management
o Monitor cash flow and liquidity across entities.
o Track capital calls, distributions, loans, and intercompany transfers.· Administration
o Manage vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and household payroll.
o Assist with insurance renewals, property management, and philanthropic giving records.
o Assist with other special projects as needed· Advisory Support
o Liaise with attorneys, investment managers, and bankers on behalf of principals.
o Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for decision-making.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field· 3–7 years of experience in public accounting, private wealth, family office, or investment management.
· Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) and Excel.
· Excellent organizational skills, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
· Strong communication skills for liaising with principals and external advisors.
