Humareso is assisting our client with the search for their next HR Leader!
This position will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the HR team by leading HR initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of inclusion and engagement across the organization. While building and nurturing professional relationships, the HR Leader will promote organizational excellence, while influencing and driving positive and innovative change across the organization.
About the Organization
- Fully remote workforce with employees in multiple states across the US
- Professional services organization with slightly over 100 employees (and growing!)
- High degree of travel (events, gatherings, meetings)
What You Will Do:
- Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources division, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, HR operations and technology, employee training and development, and career and succession planning. Manage staff of two HR professionals.
- Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to address workforce planning and staffing needs, talent acquisition, and succession planning, employee benefits, and employee compensation.
- Responsible for measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives by leveraging data and key metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee performance management – including goal and milestone development, performance assessment, and feedback and ensuring supervisors are evaluating direct reports in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and documentation requirements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues, fostering a positive work environment and resolving conflicts.
- Function as a strategic advisor to the executive/senior management of each department and division regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Optimize the use of HR technology systems to ensure effective controls for employee data and design/support of talent management (recruiting, performance management, L&D). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance/Payroll and IT) to drive process improvements, enhance user experience, and ensure compliance and data security.
- In coordination with the CFO, develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective. Evaluate and implement compensation strategies and benefit plans in coordination with the CFO.
- Manage the HR budget and other financial measures of the HR department.
You Will Have:
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university with a proven track record in Human Resources as gained through 10+ years of experience, with demonstrated experience (5+years) in a senior level HR leadership role with responsibility for driving and managing the organization’s people strategy.
- HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification highly preferred and/or MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field.
- Prior experience serving a multistate remote workforce highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
