Project Coordinator : Post-Production

Salary Range:  $45000 - $45000 year

We are assisting our client, a minority owned, Emmy award winning video production company based in Philadelphia, with their search for a Project Coordinator (Post-Production) with responsibilities for oversight and facilitation of pertinent information for all open post production projects.

This is a HYBRID role; working in office 3 days per week.  

What You'll Do...

  • Participate in project kick-off meetings 

  • Organize agenda and attend weekly post-production team meetings 

  • Manage the bandwidth and project load of each post team member 

  • Estimate time and resources needed for post-production projects 

  • Input and assign post-production tasks to appropriate departments and team members on Project Management software (Asana) 

  • Manage communication with client and delivery of projects including quality control of deliverables before shipping to client 

  • Facilitate feedback between client, post-production team, external freelancers 

  • Compile and send out invoice instructions  

  • Work alongside other department coordinators to facilitate hand off of projects from department to department 

  • Assist in technical support and troubleshooting of programs and processes 

  • Offload media from production hard drives 

  • Creation of proxies and initial project set up as needed  

What You'll Bring...

  • 3+ years in film & television industry, post-production experience is preferred 

  • Experience managing post-production workflows, bandwidth, and budgets 

  • Strong working knowledge of the post-production environment, positions, and needs 

  • Ability to multitask and balance several projects simultaneously 

  • Understanding of encoding and compression 

  • Technical knowledge to help troubleshoot issues is a bonus 

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud programs including but not limited to Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects 

  • A desire to be part of a team, collaborating with others, and upholding a strong company culture 

  • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to think on their feet and have solid technical troubleshooting skill 

  • A self-starter and capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Excellent time management skills 

  • Strong communication skills
