- Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude, as well as take orders if needed
- Bring food orders to the table quickly and accurately
- Ensure that all food items are of the highest quality by checking temperatures and properly plating dishes, according to standards
- Fix any errors or omissions and take customer feedback into consideration
- Keep track of orders and ensure that customers receive their meals while they’re still hot and fresh
- Be knowledgeable of the menu and be able to offer suggestions or answer any questions
- Be knowledgeable on allergies and sensitivities for all items served
- Participate in staff preshift meetings
- Work events if needed
- Knowledgeable about restaurant menus, offerings and promotions
