- Reset and clean dining tables between customers
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Stock the necessary supplies, utensils, and plateware
- Operate dish machine and hand wash dishes, silverware and glassware
- Take out trash and replace linens
- Transport supplies to and from designated areas when needed
- Prepare special orders requested by customers
- Assist servers in addressing customer concerns
- Ensure restaurant safety compliance
- Participate in staff preshift meetings
- Be knowledgeable on allergies and sensitivities for all items served
- Work events if needed
- Knowledgeable about restaurant menus, offerings and promotions
- High School education required; college degree preferred
- Three to five years previous experience preferred
- Flexible availability including holidays, weekends and nights
- Ability to work in high-paced high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills; strong customer service background
- Ability to have a friendly disposition for guest relations
- Appropriately groomed for direct engagement with clientele
- Will be exposed to various environmental conditions such as cold due to refrigeration or heat due to hot surfaces or espresso machines
- Exposure to some chemicals
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
