Our client is hiring a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Services - (Fully remote anywhere in the US)
The SVP of Client Services will be responsible for the strategic direction and supervision of the Client Services department, ensuring that business objectives are achieved efficiently and cost-effectively. In this position, you will partner with service leaders on defining and executing high-level client strategy and give expert guidance to our team for managing our client relationships.
This person is a dynamic leader, strategic by nature, always thinking about the client’s experience and how to enhance it. They have led a team, having been responsible for their growth, training, and success. They are a mentor, a leader, and a team player willing to roll up their sleeves to meet the needs of our clients. They've also demonstrated success in business development, both new and organic. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement client strategies while taking ownership of “bottom-line” accountability
- Improve business efficiency and profitability through process development and implementation
- Create scopes of work, timelines, and project briefs, and manage tight deadlines to exceed client expectations
- Provide professional guidance to clients, resulting in account stability, increased business, and profit
- Collaborate with directors to integrate work and build positive relationships with team members and clients
- Lead and manage the client services team, including selection, evaluation, and professional development
- Recognize and nurture organic new business opportunities among existing clients
- Develop and negotiate annual agency fees and budgets, and identify new business opportunities
- Maintain departmental budgets and oversee expenditures
- Develop business vision and strategy and provide solutions as a member of the Executive Leadership Team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, liberal arts or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- 15+ years of professional experience, preferably within an agency setting (healthcare preferred)
- 5+ years experience leading and developing teams
- 5+ years of experience working on both traditional and digital strategies
- Excellent negotiation skills, particularly in contract negotiations with clients
- Proven success in brand planning, execution, program evaluation, and analysis
- Demonstrated success in project management (experience in supervising project management is a bonus)
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and target audiences
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
- Some travel required
