Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and related areas

• Organize and stock the bar before and during shifts
• Have a working knowledge of the menu and its ingredients
• Assist bartenders and servers with drink orders
• Maintain bar inventory, collecting receipts, and reporting any discrepancies
• Ensure a consistent, high standard of customer service
• Follow all health and safety regulations and alcohol compliance laws
• Participate in staff preshift meetings
• Be knowledgeable on allergies and sensitivities for all items served
• Work events if needed
• Verify age requirements for alcohol serving
• Knowledgeable about restaurant menus, offerings and promotions

Requirements

• High School education required with previous experience preferred
• Flexible availability including holidays, weekends and nights
• Ability to work in high-paced high-volume restaurant setting
• Strong organizational and verbal communication skills; strong customer service background
• Ability to have a friendly disposition for guest relations
• Appropriately groomed for direct engagement with clientele

Work Environment

• Will be exposed to various environmental conditions such as cold due to refrigeration or heat due to hot surfaces or espresso machines
