- Greet guests with a smile and friendly demeanor on arrival
- Ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner
- Coordinate seating arrangements and guest flow for kitchen and server operations
- Anticipate guest needs for a positive dining experience
- Monitor daily bookings and inform management of statuses
- Confirm bookings
- Tag guest information in reservation platform with relevant information: celebrations, allergies, seated, cleared, etc,
- Ensure all PX, VIP, Allergy, Billing, Celebrations, Ect. Notes are efficiently communicated with management, kitchen, and staff
- Converse with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with their dining experience
- Ensure menus pars are present
- Ensure menus are up to date, clean and mark free
- Ensure that front desk is continuously organized and fully stocked
- Relay phone messages in a fast and efficient manner
- Interact with guests
- Accurately explain menu items, ask questions, and provide suggested menu items when requested
- Following food safety guidelines
- Monitor restaurant floor for spills and other safety hazards
- Inspect and set up reservations desk and inform management if any supplies are needed
- Menu printing
- CC Authorization communication
- Email answering
- Ensuring that the restaurant is always neat and presentable
- Opening & Closing duties specified by company
