Account Manager

Salary Range:  $70000.00 - $80000.00 year

Job Summary:

Our Account Managers are responsible for the day to day needs of our clients and work closely with our “Risk Manager” in implementing and monitoring KMRD’s Service Plan. Therefore, this is a key person that is responsible for executing what we commit to in the sales process and act as our clients “outsourced risk manager”. You will be challenged with solving complex customer service issues, working with insurance markets on program design and pricing, developing, and recommending options, strategies, and taking the lead on renewals. You will also serve as the client’s primary point of contact for all issues and services related to each account.

This is a hybrid role. The Account Manager will work in office 3-4 days a week, and the remaining days at home.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare submissions and draft proposals for the risk manager

· Prepare and review policies and endorsements accurately

· Prepare loss sensitive adjustment projections and reviews

· Negotiate price and coverage details with underwriters and financing for clients

· Invoicing

· Process requested changes in coverage

· Ensure KMRD’s service plans are delivered timely and effectively

· Issue Certificates of Insurance and auto ID cards

· Perform experience mod projections / reviews

· Provide bid and accrual support

· Review audits

· Assist in the coordination of loss control, claims support, and contract reviews

Qualifications:

Education / Experience:

  • Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License required.
  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college preferred
  • CRIS/CIC certifications strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of coverage or an orientation / intellectual curiosity for coverage concepts
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Outlook including email, calendar, tasks, etc.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Word including typing and the ability to modify word tables, outlines etc.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Excel including the creation and modification of graphs and charts
  • Working Knowledge of Adobe.
  • Better than average typing skills.
  • Working knowledge or ability to learn applied systems.
  • Experience with CSR 24 or similar systems
  • Strong work ethic
