Our client Global*e is seeking for a full-time, commercial and contracts lawyer. The position will be based in NYC report directly to the company’s general counsel, and will involve handling our North America commercial activities, namely B2B contracts with clients (who are among the world’s leading e-commerce retailers and brands), ongoing technology and vendor contracts and projects with our global clients, as well as supporting our North America headquarters with their ongoing legal needs.

The role will necessitate liaising both with clients and vendors, as well as teams across our organization and other international offices, and external counsels where and when necessary.

As a legal counsel in our team you will-

• Provide ongoing legal advice, working with all departments of the company (sale, marketing, operations, HR, etc.);
• Negotiate and draft various contracts, including services agreements, consulting, suppliers, DPAs, NDAs and more;
• Address issues related to the protection of privacy;

The role will report to the General Counsel.

Requirements: 

• A licensed attorney with 4-8 years of experience after internship
• Graduate of the commercial / high-tech department or an international commercial department of a leading law firms – required
• Experience in the legal department of a technology / commercial company – required
• Strong drafting skills – required
• In-depth practical knowledge of privacy protection and international trade – a major advantage
• Background or experience in e-commerce – an advantage
• Fluent in English (other languages – advantage)
