This role is 100% remote and must be willing to travel to client locations as needed and as is safe during the COVID pandemic.
Responsibilities:
- Provide creative vision and clear guidance, set the tone for creative output across the organization
- Lead the work into fresh creative territories by making ideas compelling, relevant, and desirable to our clients
- Lead effective client presentations that create excitement and demonstrate how the creative delivers on strategy
- Identify overall business problems and own solutions as a member of the company’s Leadership Team
- Craft your own big ideas and experiences that enhance client projects and support new business development
- Leverage own talents and that of the team in executing a variety of design projects from concept to completion, including but not limited to print, photo/photoshoots, digital, social media, design creation, production, and copywriting when needed
- Manage and develop the creative team (including internal and external resources), ensuring on time and on budget delivery across all books of business
- Collaborate inter-departmentally to ensure creatives are set up for success (help establish and refine processes, refine project/creative briefs, etc.)
- Coach junior through director-level creatives, involving them in projects as well as inspiring their personal and professional development by providing consistent feedback, training, and growth opportunities
- Stay current on design trends and identify new digital tools that support creativity, efficiency, and productivity
- Identify internal needs and facilitate activities and trainings to enhance innovative, creative mindsets across the company
Requirements:
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in brand, marketing, communications, or research and development minimum. Experience in healthcare field is preferred. Experience with medical or health products a plus.
- 10 years of supervisory experience at an executive level
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building and scaling teams
- Proven ability to inspire people and work in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
- Expert storyteller with exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicting priorities and change management with finesse and integrity
- Detail-oriented manager who can navigate a multi-level, multi-project team to execute under tight deadlines
- Portfolio of dynamic and original client work across a broad spectrum of channels
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
