Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Salary Range:  $34 - $40 hour

Sailfish Mechanical is a rapidly growing mechanical contractor.  We service commercial customers in Palm Beach and Martin County.  Our technicians work on all types of air conditioning equipment, as well as pumps, boilers and refrigeration equipment.

We are a customer focused company and strive to provide the absolute best customer service from start to finish.  We are looking for team members who want a career and not just a job.

Our technicians are paid top dollar, this is not a commission-based position.

 

Job Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial customers.
  • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, and be able to fully explain what the issue is and what is needed to correct
  • Teamwork is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed.
  • Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle.
  • Manage paperwork and materials.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities 

 

Ideal candidates possess the following characteristics:

  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Capable of being self-managed and independent.
  • Proficient in servicing all make and manufacturer’s equipment.
  • Conduct work in a clean, neat, and professional manner.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Minimum of five years of service experience
  • EPA certification required.
  • Local candidates only.
